My memories terrible, I’m not putting it down to old age just yet, I’m only 44 after all!!
It’s a great conversation talking about what you’ve watched with friends, the issue I have though is remembering what we’ve watched. So this list is more for me to remember what’s we’ve watched and I hope you take some inspiration if you need something to fill your afternoon
I’ve not rated them as everyone has different tastes, I have popped a link to the trailer (click on the name of the program to open the link) and noted which Chanel/streaming service we watched it on at the time.
If you lived Greys or ER, you will be obsessed with this HBO series.
The entire series is over the course of 1 shift in the ER, each episode is an hour of the shift. We live a medical drama and we lived this!! Season 1 watched and were half way through season 2!
You don’t need the HBO app, we watch this through the NOWTV app.

Is there anything that Nicole Kidman has done that isn’t brilliant! Another great series with Jamie Lee Curtis playing the sister and some other familiar faces.
With 2 different casts playing different times in the Dr’s life this show has couple of great twists and turns in as Dr Kay try’s to find a serial killer from a covered up case.

Apple TV’s first big hit season with Jennifer Aniston & Reese Witherspoon are new anchors on the networks morning news show.
Sex scandals and power struggles when #metoo was really coming in to the public spotlight.
Perfectly written and well thought through.
The Morning Show: TV so excellent it will make you totally resent Friends says the Guardian of the first season of the show!

I did all 6 seasons in about 3 weeks!! Absolutly hooked, big california crime family led by a very powerful matriarch!! and the thing I like mosy about it was, it was written for 6 sesons, the last few episodes tie the entire thing up. Brilliantly made and defiantly worth a watch. I watched it on Netflix.
Animal Kingdom: nihilistic feast of bros, bare butts and bad behavior. The Guardians review is spot on.

Not a single true story, but inspiration taken from real life situations and the book "Baby Doll" 6 parts and the story is in 2 halves which keeps the episodes fresh. avalible on Paramount Plus

This is plot twist after plot twist and the best thing weve watched in a long time!

Really nice to see Robin Wright back on our screen, who we know from House of Cards - Another great watch! The Girlfriend follows the relashionship between a mummy’s boy Mother and girlfriend ofgther showing how each party interpreted key interactions. We watched this on Amazon TV.
The Radio times review headline was - Robin Wrights thriller is was Gleefully deranged
Who knew there was so much political history behind Tetris. I remember my ganeboy very well and yes, Tetris was the game that came with it. Great watch and another great AppleTV production.

Elizabeth Moss (Known best for the hand maids tail), we watched it on Disney Plus. Spy thriller where Elizebeth plays an English spy who is helping a maybe/maybe not terrorist from the Istanbul to Paris.
LA Times reviewd it perfectly, Spy gone rogue!
Two student that met on their graduation then meet 20 years later and pick up where they left off, perfect to watch on a cozy evening with a good bottle of red abd an open fire. Watch it on Netflix.

If youve not heard of this....get out from under your stone! We loved season 1 & 2 with the caracter, Tanya McQuiod which is played by Jennier Coolidge is one of only a very small handful of caracters that follow on from the 1st season in to the 2nd. Controvercially Tanya is not carried in to seson, BIG MISTAKE, HUGE MASSIVE! As Jennifer won to Emmy awards for playing this role.
We've lost intrest in seson 3 and not even finished it. 1 & 2 though - Must watch on Now TV!
Skys review was spot on -The White Lotus proved to be one of the most surprising hits of 2021
This is possibly the best thing we've watched this year. UK made crime family based in Liverpool with a fabulous cast, and season 2 has already been comminsioned. Will be intresting how they make something as good as season 1.
Superb crime thriller of betail and shifting loyalties say the Telegraph
Was reportly loosly based on the Merdock and Maxwell familys who both have/had huge media empirs. Jesse Armstrong who created the series said that inspiration was drawn from these families but not based on!
Four season, all excellent and worth of a weekend binge!
Eric - Netflix released this in 2024 which stars Benadictine Cumberbatch, who uses his role as a tv caracter to try and get his son to come home in a susspected kiddnapping case.
